Beginning September 14 and running for three weeks, the town of Olds held skateboard clinics at the new skate park located in Centennial Park. The classes were for ages 5 and up and taught the basics of skateboarding and park etiquette. The classes were run by Luke Bradley from Salvation Skateboard, a Christian community run company that assists with skate park fundraising. Three years ago Luke helped with the fundraising for the Olds skate park. Salvation Skateboards brought trucks and ramps to Olds and have held classes every year since.
